Mancave make big investment

As the mancave wants to maintain being a first class operation it has made the major investment in new cards. But to pay for this they will no longer be serving Killians red, but will be switching back to MGD.

Jeff Will be Belly up on Thursday

An unnamed official from Hambone's mancave has reported that there will be a record turnout for this thursdays game. Apperently underbelly's recent remarks has stirred up interest in this weekends game. This game is getting so much attention that it is even gettin poker wanna be Mike Kelley out of retirement. When asked why he is coming out out of retirement Mike Kelley was Quoted as saying "I just want a piece of that whinny B*st*rd". Underbelly(pictured) could not be reached for a quote.

The Man against Jeff saga continues!

The poker freight train known as Jeff Kelley has been building up steam for the last four weeks. The whole poker world was waiting this Thursday’s game as the week the first place finally comes to him. It is not to be.

Knowing of the force he has become, all the other players in the game have made it clear that they refuse to play. The hopes, as one unidentified player said, “By taking as week off, I am hoping Jeff cools off.” And another said, “Scared? You’re damn right I’m scared!”

So the owner of Hambone’s Man Cave cancelled the game, using the lack of players as an excuse.

“This is all about the Man not wanting someone like me, from the civilized world, to win.” Jeff said as his news conference, “Those Harvard people stick together. They are afraid of us from the east taking over the poker world!”

So I was struggling all gave with mediocre cards. I was bluffed out of a few pots by Hambone. Finally I end up all in with Kelly. We have about the same stacks. I get a straight! Great. Nope. Four hearts on the board after the river! Kelly has a heart and I don't!

Somewhere up in the clouds, a finger points down at me with a grins! Hey you up there, I hope your enjoying my misery.

I thought I'd discuss a few hands from last Thursday. Now, this is not sour grapes, but I finished 3rd BY SUCK OUTS!

Kelly, the eventual winner, catches a jack on the river with his tournament life on the line, to get a high 2 pair than mine. Nice catch!

Hambone goes all in with King-8 and I call with big slick. Again, like Kelly, I've got him covered. Four of the five cards on the board are: 10, Jack, Queen and Ace! A freakin' spilt pot! Nice.

So I finish out of the money! And if I hit these guys with a baseball bat, I'd be the one to go to jail! Tell me where the justice in the universe is?

BTW, Congrats to Karen for wining 2 weeks ago and Kelly for yesterday.
